Telescopic spreader is driven by hydraulic transmission telescopic chain or cylinder (now also do not use hydraulic but direct drive with the motor). Frame: The central bar-like structure designed to resist the compressive forces of the load.
Telescoping mechanism: These components slide into each other to increase or decrease the overall length of the spreader.
Slings/wire ropes: These are the connectors between the upper attachment points and the lifting crane.
Shackles: Used to connect the slings to the pad-eyes on the spreader frame and also to the load.
Safety/locking pins: These pins are inserted through holes in the inner and outer pipes to secure the frame at the desired extended length.
Upper attachment points: These are points on the frame's top, often called pad-eyes, where the slings from the crane or lifting device attach. These are found on the ends of the frame and are used to attach slings or chains that connect to the actual load.
