Direct line of sight: Being physically on the crane provides the operator with an elevated and often unobstructed view of the lifting area. This can reduce reliance on cameras or sensors and improve situational awareness, especially in tight stacking areas or poor weather conditions.
Faster reaction time: Operators in the cabin can respond to sudden environmental changes almost instantly. This responsiveness May help avoid accidents or collisions.
Lower initial investment: Most rtg cranes come standard with cabin control systems. Adding remote control functionality requires extra components such as cameras, communication networks, and remote terminals, increasing upfront costs.
